"It was something special. I saw the goalkeeper off his line and I just hit it direct to the poles and it went in," Maart told the club's website, before lightheartedly adding, "Ja, it’s obvious. Like they say, It's 'Goal of the Season.'"
Maart joined Chiefs at the start of the season from Sekhukhune United and has been a mainstay in midfield this season, featuring in all but one of the club's league matches to date.
