Swallows FC have announced the signing of striker Waseem Isaacs from Stellenbosch. The 31-year-old joins on a 2 year deal with the option to extend.

Isaacs was a crucial figure in helping Stellenbosch secure promotion to the GladAfrica Championship (now Motsepe Foundation Championship) but saw his form dip last season, finding the net just once for the Western Cape side. The Dube Birds may be the perfect place for him to recapture his form.

The 31-year-old is Swallows's third and eldest among the new signings unveiled in this transfer window.

The first recruit was the capture of 21-year-old Tuks defender Keegan Allan, who was voted the 2022 Nedbank Cup Player of The Season and had been linked with Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Supersport United among other clubs. Allan has since begun training with Swallows.

This was followed by the signing of midfielder Lindokuhle Mtshali. The 24-year-old joined the Birds from Golden Arrows.

Swallows is expected to unveiel a few more signings before the transfer window shut at the end of July as they look to avoid the releagtion battle that threatned their top-flight status last season.
