Milford captain Phakamani Ngxongo has revealed the one advantage his side may have over Kaizer Chiefs as the two teams prepare to do battle.

The Motsepe Foundation outfit is set to take on Amakhosi at FNB stadium on Sunday and despite the hosts' overwhelming support base and resources, Ngxongo believes it could all possibly work to against the Glamour Boys.

"Well Chiefs is a big team, I suppose the slight advantage we might have over them in this game is they won’t want to lose against us, a smaller team. There will be more pressure on them," the defender told KickOff.

"Not to say we don’t want to win don’t have any pressure ourselves. We also very eager to play well and we won’t just rely on that to beat them. We know we will also have to play every well to stand a chance of beating them.

"But that being said, we do want urge people to come out an watch the match the game. Whether you are Chiefs supporter or a Milford supporter or any other team.

Amakhosi will be without at least four players for the clash as George Matlou, Edmilson Dove, and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe all nurse injuries, while  Sfiso Hlanti is out of action due to suspension.

"We are prepared for this. We know what it means for the club  and we know what it means for our supporters at home," Johnson said at the pre-match press conference on Thursday. 

"We are playing against Milford so we give them all the respect as far as football is concerned.

"We know we will be the favourites on the day so therefore we have to prepare extra hard."

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 18:00.
