Bafana Bafana will walk out for the next match against Andorra during the next FIFA calendar week as part of history related to their European opponents.

Bafana will be involved in a FIFA series being played in Algeria to include the hosts, Bolivia, and Andorra from March 21-26.

The Hugo Broos coached team will play Andorra on March 21 in Annaba and then Algeria six days later at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers.

Of significance about the match against Andorra is that it will be their first ever match outside Europe.

Andorra have played international since 1996.

The Andorrans also have the world’s longest serving national team coach – Koldo Alvarez – in charge with the 53-year-old having been at the helm since February 2010.

After playing Andorra (ranked 164), Bafana will face have Algeria (ranked 43). 

The Algerians have a new coach at the helm in Vladimir Petkovic after they flopped at the AFCON finals for the second consecutive tournament.
