Downs boss Mokwena recently explained that he can’t be fair to every player in his squad due to the tough competition among the group. Both players have been on the fringes of the team despite overcoming their injury issues, raising question over whether they have a long-term future at the club.
KickOff readers on Facebook had quite a lot to say about the situation, particularly in Maema’s case.

Meanwhile, Masandawana playmaker Marcello Allende was snubbed again by the Chile national team, sparking a widespread reaction from KO readers.
