Chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung says the plans to appoint a full-time head coach at Kaizer Chiefs are in motion and moving fast.

Amakhosi have been without a full-time boss since Molefi Ntseki's axing, with Cavin Johnson holding down the role on an interim basis.

Motaung admitted that it's going to take a lot of work for them to get back to where they were, and that the advancement of technology and the internet can help them find the right man for the big head coach gig at the club.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Motaung: Chiefs' head coach search an ongoing process" story:

"Dr K.... The only solution to everything before appointing a new coach is to remove your son Bobby from a managerial position, Junior & Jessica are doing okay.

"Get a qualified GM and then after that, get the coach you will trust and allow him to appoint their own technical team and get him the players needed, though I think we have enough, except upfront," says Hlugapoi.

"Just hire Pitso Mosimane, madala," says Legend CRM083.

"The shy one is out of touch with reality, I bet they also use Google to search for players," says Shikabala.

"Chiefs must consider hiring Jomo Sono," says Mpho Ludick.

"Kwaaaa!! They use social media and google coaches," says Dominate-downs.

Inaugural African Football League champions Mamelodi Sundowns will give their finance department plenty of work this season, as they continue to cash in on prize money from tournaments and the league.

Sundowns have accumulated at least R90 million worth of prize money into their account for their efforts so far this season.

They secured R75 million from winning the AFL on Sunday, another R800 000 for reaching the MTN8 final, a further R550 000 for participating in the Carling Knockout Cup and another R1.5 million from the first quarter of the DStv Premiership season.

After making it into the group stages of the CAF Champions League, the club bagged another R13.12 million with a minimum of R350 000 expected from the Nedbank Cup.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "R90 million 'in the bag' for Downs with another R90 million to play for" story:

"All I can say, this AFL was a pilot project. Not all African teams were part of it. Let's not call it inaugural yet until all best African teams participate. Sundowns were given a cheque as expected," says Miltah.king.

"I disagree with you my brother, CAF rankings was used to pick the best 8 teams in Africa, if your team was not in the best 8 then you know where the problem is. 24 of the best teams in Africa will be chosen to take part in the next AFL competition, ensure that your team is there," replies Mashanyaselemela.

"Pirates was not part of the eight best teams. Pirates are good for small cups," says Saavedra.

"These guys are gonna have an exceptional Christmas..." says Eau De Parfum.

"I am a Bucs fan but credit goes to Sundowns this time. Many teams fear them, including Northern Africa," says Mutalit.

"Big respect to Sundowns. It's good to see them getting something back from their big spending," says Legend CRM083.

"Most people don't realise what's happening at Sundowns. Mokwena has just come of age and he is now more tactically flexible. That's all he needed. Lesiba Nku and Thapelo Maseko are very central to this tactical flexiblity. Sundowns seek to win rather than win with style this season.

"Sundowns are able to sit back and conduct counter-attacks when needed. With the new tactical flexibility, this Sundowns team will win a few more African cups. CAFCL will be at Chloorkop very very soon. Haters, be prepared for this!" says Sva2022.

"Dolly joined Chiefs to win trophies," says Fsengani02.

"Hehehehe.. he must be regretting his decision that one, him and Billiat," replies GrootmankaBrian.

"We invited Barca of Messi & we learned a very long lasting lesson, they laughed at us, today we are enjoying the reward of what we invested on. Long live Motsepe family, long live," says truthngezana1.

"I remember when they used to say, 'Money can't buy success.' Now they are saying, 'Money can't buy supporters.' Hahahaha... Confused haters," says De GreaT.

"Any player Sundowns will target as a possible buy will have their price inflated. Any PSL owner would like to chow from Sundowns, given this haul of cash," says makausemakause53.

"Bobby must be wishing he was one of Motsepe's sons when looking at this Downs loot," says GrootmankaBrian.

"Sundowns is a complete institution of African football.
