With Young Africans head coach Miguel Gamondi making a big claim regarding Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their encounter, fans have made some claims of their own too.

What's the story?

The side's will go head-to-head in the quarter-final of the CAF Champions League, and Gamondi stated that he knows the Brazilians very well.

"I was coach at Sundowns, and I know what they like to do and what they are building now is not only important for South Africa, but for African continent because they it's an advert for Africa," he said.

"For us, it is probably going to be the toughest opponent we will get but at the same time it will be a great learning experience for Young Africans to play with a quality side and technical staff. I think this will be a great advert for African football."

Here's what the KO readers had to say about it:

"Mr Gamondi u coached Sundowns ages ago. The team is fierce these days, don't make a mistake to rely on old information, you will eat grass and sweat blood," says Riri Solomon.

"Rulani can show you his game plan an hour before kick-off but still outmanoeuvre you on the field. That's how dangerous Sundowns is," says Clement Mnguni.

"You were a coach there 18 years back, a lot has changed since then," says Skhumbuzo Sphiwe Mncube.

"We also know you, and remember: this Sundowns is troublesome," says James Maatjie.

"What I love the most about Sundowns is the fact that we are talking in the field of play," says Bonga Nkadimeng.

"Sundowns is quiet and they are planning to silence this one and talk after the game," says Tboz Sandawana.

"'Amapiano'by Gommondi. He has been talking this man. We will be talking on the field and he will eat his humble pie. That Amapiano tune he has been playing....'I have been at Sundowns and I know how they operate'. After 90 minutes that tune will play like a scratched CD."

"Yah not for this sundowns, they are a well oiled machine," says William Mathambo.

"He seams to be too worried about Sundowns than his own team. I have noted for the past two weeks he has said something about us.... well, Saturday is just around the corner coach, and we shall see," says Themba Esou Dlamini.

"Coach Sundowns is no longer the same. They're averaging 600 passes per match compare to the 300 you know," says Luyolo Tyeku.

"He left Sundowns more than 15 years ago. Rulani Mokwena was still in primary School. What does he know about chameleon football," says Bigboss Vilakazi.

"Too much wara wara this Coach we wil silent him on the day," says Julias Mthembo Dube.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly are said to be set to hold a final meeting to decide Percy Tau's future at the club following a reported demand from the player's camp.

The South African's contract with the Egyptian giants is currently set to expire in June this year, but a new condition from the player's camp has halted the process of a potential renewal, according to WTS Kora.

Here's what the KO readers make of the situation:

"He will probably come back home and join chiefs," says Skhumbuzo Sphiwe Mncube.

"Hopefully he will get something from Belgium," says Lucky Simson Phogole.

"Contract are always negotiated hope they reach agreement," says Tavhanyani Mainganye.

"He must join Sekhukhune United," says Philani Phiraa Man Madikizela.

"Tau is finished truth been told," says John Nkuna.

"We wish you all the best Percy Tau," says Belgravia Rsa.

"They must let him go, they killed him, he is no longer the same Tau that we know," says Wandile Warra.
