With one of South Africa’s biggest music festivals taking place over the weekend, it was expected that one of the local game’s stars would attend Rocking the Daisies. Check it out!
What Happened?
The iconic music festival is back after a two-year hiatus following the coronavirus pandemic. The Cape Town’s version of the event took place from the 7th to 9th October, as it is a weekend event while Johannesburg held their music show on the 9th.
Organisers announced earlier this year that United States of America artist Kehlani, I Am DDB, Blxckie and Clean Bandit while some of SA’s biggest artists also featured including the likes of Nasty C, DBN Gogo and A-Reece.
Former Ajax Amsterdam star Dean Solomons appears to have attended the weekend event as he took to Instagram and put his location at the event.

It remains unconfirmed if he attended the Joburg or Western Cape event.

Solomons left South Africa after earning a contract with the Eredivisie giants after impressing on a trial upon a trial and spent three seasons in Netherlands.

With one season in the U19s and two in the Eerste Divisie with the Jong Ajax side, he was given his marching orders and soon joined Allsvenskan side Varbergs BoIs.
However, he struggled to earn first team action with the Swedish top-flight side and parted ways with them in January. The centre back was reportedly being assessed by Martizburg United in the most recent transfer window but he remains a free agent.
