Pele, Gyan & Muntari say goodbye to Atsu

Ghana legends Abedi Pele, Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari and more former Black Stars paid a visit to the family of the late Christian Atsu to grieve with them. Check it out!

What Happened?

After a 12 day search, Atsu was found dead on Saturday under his home in southern Turkey following a terrible 7.8 magnitude earthquake on 6 February caused the collapse of his apartment in Antakya, in hard-hit Hatay province.

Earlier this week, The body of footballer Atsu was returned to his native Ghana.

Many of his current and former teammates took to Twitter and Instagram to share their favourites moments with him or just simply send condolences. 

As a sign of respect, Gyan and some of Atsu's national side teammates visited the house of Atsu's family on Tuesday to pay their respect.

Muntari, Abedi Ayew Pele, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu were also attendance as all of them signed a book of condolence.
