The verdict of the Dispute Resolution Chamber hearing involving the tug-of-war between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates over striker Siphelele Mthembu, will be handed down on Wednesday.

This was disclosed by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor Zola Majavu on Monday afternoon.

Both clubs lay claims to having the 21-year-old striker's signature, with the player himself favouring Chiefs.

Chiefs’ team manager Bobby Motaung told KickOff.com earlier that the youngster, whose talent has been described as ‘exceptional’, signed a three-year deal with Amakhosi after training with them last year, but it is understood that Mthembu had also signed a pre-contract with Pirates.

Maritzburg City’s owner Bongi Hlophe told KickOff.com at the time that Mthembu was cleared to Bucs at the end of last season.

I fear that AmaKhosi will not like the outcome of the decision on Wednesday. Shame, too bad nothing can be done to change the situation. Wena Sphelele, the only advice I can give it to you is to start packing and leave that useless Naturena jersey.

I hope after all this Mthembu won't disappoint, he will show us why both this team wanted him so much.

This so unfair, He could have been selected for Bafana.

I don't blame Pirate for fighting so much... they suck!!! they don't have strikers.

But maybe by 2010 we might have a good short, with few individuals scoring goals for this season. the likes of Parker and Ngwenya. its surely promissing.

Pirates have the players signiture, have paid the players former team boss for the players services...so what the hell is the hallaballoo about...this boy is destroying his career before it has even taken off...this is not abt the playe's abilities as a footballer bt It has more to do with the Egos of Chiefs and Pirates..

A lesson hard to learn,,,,how can you sign for two teams,,,worst of all they are rivals..Soweto Giants...I see this case dragging on after that appeal....Sphe you must just take a vacation and take your gal friend to Mauritius or Mozambique..with the signing on fees...

....Chiefs should negotiate on getting the services of this player through Pirates,,,,there is no way that Sphe will become Chiefs player,,,,that's sad but true....Bongi Hlophe has been confirming this from last year....the fact that he likes or his mother loves Chiefs has nothing to do with the fact that Pirates has got an edge over Chiefs since he was cleared by his former boss to the Ghosts...but I blame Chiefs they shouldn't have used him,,,,,he was going to fail to secure i position kwi Pirates....
