Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs has been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad to face Equatorial Guinea on Saturday due to an injury he sustained during Pirates' Absa Premiership draw against Santos at the weekend.
Bafana manager, Sipho Nkumane has confirmed the latest development in the squad and added that the technical team is still to make an announcement about Josephs’ replacement.
"Yes, it’s true that Moeneeb Josephs has now been withdrawn from the squad to play Equatorial Guinea, due to an injury he sustained over the weekend.”
Bloemfontein Celtic goalkeeper, Shu-Aib Walters looks the likely candidate to replace the injured Josephs in the Bafana Bafana squad, who are currently in camp in preparations for their World Cup/African Cup of Nations qualifier against Equatorial Guinea this coming weekend.

Back to diski: Josephs is a useless keeper! I saw the highlights! I think Chiefs & Pirates should swap defenders! WHAT was that during the weekend? I won’t speak abt Sundowns as they got hammered by my boys… Golden Arrows!

Trott is going…. Trol is going… Mushin is going… Gordon is stayin’ – hehehe!
Ayeye! I so wanna see Chiefs, Pirates, Sundowns fight in the relegation zone….
BIG UPS to the defending champs, Supersport United! They are showin’ Chiefs, Pirates, and esp Sundowns that u don’t need moola to win games. or also Golden Arrows… today I’m wearin’ the jersey I got from their management.
