Nedbank Cup last 16 draw

Nedbank Cup last 16 draw

Posted: 12 March 2012 Time: 11:39 am

The draw for the last 16 of the 2012 Nedbank Cup has just been completed!

The draw was conducted at Nedbank's headquarters in Johannesburg.

Maritzburg United were the first team to qualify for the last 16, when they beat Bloemfontein Celtic at Harry Gwala Stadium two weeks ago, while Roses United were the last team to book their place, when they beat Bay United on Sunday afternoon.

AmaZulu and Ajax Cape Town will have to wait until Tuesday night, when they replay the match that was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch on the weekend, but whoever goes through will play Witbank Spurs.

The pick of the round has got to be Bidvest Wits vs Mamelodi Sundowns, although the Orlando Pirates vs Free State Stars match-up should also be interesting, especially since Bucs have just suspended Julio Leal.

The matches will be played the weekend of 23-25 March.

Round 16 fixtures Bidvest Wits vs Mamelodi Sundowns Golden Arrows vs Maritzburg Utd AmaZulu/Ajax Cape Town vs Witbank Spurs Black Leopards vs Kaizer Chiefs Roses United vs Santos Jomo Cosmos vs Platinum Stars Pirates vs Free State Stars United FC vs SuperSport United What do you think of the draw? I dont see chiefs or downs going out, however i see a coachless clueless managent and underperforming bucks out, you can't be fluking 1 nil wins all the tym this is PSL you are bound to be exposed, watch this space, i foresee more problems here. Their fans said kick off were just reporting nonsens, what do you know next minute it true the coach is nowhere, so these baseless comments or shall i say emotional comments that either chiefs or downs are going out is not making sence these 2 teams are stable for one and result are forthcoming...

Good news for the Ghost.Who ever blocks our freeway we crush. To those who failed to take advantage during that clueless coach's short era im sorry.Anyway bad news for the Zebraz.Lastly ''I would like to thank the chairman for his brave decision, though it wont be good news for the Zebraz who expected to take advantage of clueless Leal.Thank you chairman once again. We are winning on Saturday.
