Liberty Professionals coach J.E Sarpong could be in trouble with the Ghana Football Association after a damming verdict on Ghanaian referees.
Sarpong's side lost a two goal lead at New Edubiase to draw 2-2 against the home side and Sarpong was left fuming at the performance of referee Awal Mohammed who awarded a penalty to Edubiase.
Sarpong said the standards of refereeing was becoming too poor but it is his comments about referees being shot that could fetch him sanctions.
"I would not be surprised if somebody will be shot on the field one day, I will not be surprised," an angry Sarpong claimed.
Sarpong could be dragged before the Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association after the comments.
