Ghana learns from Senegal shock

Ghana have picked the right lessons from the opening days of the Africa Cup of Nations and insist they will take no team lightly at the competition.

The Black Stars begin their campaign in Franceville on Tuesday against debutants Botswana with coach Goran Stevanovic claiming they will show the world why Ghana are favourites.

There is a great deal of confidence within the Ghana camp at Villa Ngoni but midfielder Sulley Muntari also says there is an awareness that there will be no easy games.

"If you look at what happened on the opening day it is easy to see you cannot write off any team," Muntari said in reference to Zambia's win over Senegal. "We are very confident but we won't be taking any team lightly."

Zambia stunned Senegal who are many people's favourites while Sudan asked serious questions of the Ivory Coast in their loss to the Elephants secured by Didier Drogba's goal.

It is a good thing to note that Ghana will be under preasure to show the world that they are the best but will wait for them and if they commit schoolboy mistakes we will punish them. Our being the undergogs thoes not necessarily make us a work over! Ok if they want to show their world class, fine; us will have nothing to prove but just to play football!!

Botswana is not on pressure. Ghana must work hard if they want to go through, but nna i see another upset. Botswana conceded 3 goals during qualifiers, They score first, you wont score.Stars nevar shine beta than a zebra.

It is good at time of the tournament, that the Black Stars of Ghana has recognize the fact that the so called '' small teams'' can pose a challenge to them. Go Black Stars...Go Black Stars.
