Nigerian-born Bobsam Elejiko slumped and died during a League game in Belgium on Sunday.

Fifth-tier Belgian club Merksem S.C. said on their website that Elejiko collapsed during the Provincial 1 game against F.C. Kaart on Sunday and attempts to resuscitate the Nigerian-born Belgian were unsuccessful.   The cause of death was not immediately clear.   Merksem said in the statement on their website that “we express our condolences to the Elejiko family during this difficult time.”   The 30-year-old Elejiko had previously played for Westerlo and Antwerp among other teams.   The match was abandoned after Elejiko's death.

Another sad news. May Elejiko's soul rest in peace.

Another case of player slumping and dying ???. I think these so-called westerners can be incompetent and deficient at times , but they brainwash the third world (mental imperialism and inferiority injection) into believing that they have solutions for everything. They should have known his medical condition.
On Tuesday, August 28, 2007, Antonio Puerta also slumped and died in a game against Getafe and a lot of other stories.

Why can't they have a proper diagnosis of players medical condition ????.
Sophistication doesn't guarantee life.....Only God guarantees life.

@Detmolder: Raising those questions without initially attempting any sort of condolence to those left behind by this young man is very cruel and borderline primitive of you. Surely you are now ashamed of your self for this.
