Moon excited about trip to Greece

Bafana Bafana and Ajax Cape Town right-back Bryce Moon says he is excited at the opportunity of going to top Greek side Panathinaikos for possible trials.

Moon tells KickOff.com that he is set to jet out of the country on March 31 to Panathinaikos, the club of Bafana defender Nasief Morris.

“All that I have been told is that I will spend one week there and I’m hoping that I can spend that time well and land a contract,” Moon adds.

If he makes it in Greece, it will be the second time that the Pietermaritzburg-born player will be playing in Europe.

Moon spent a season in Northern Ireland with Corelaine FC.

It has been a good season for Moon, whose club Ajax currently top the Absa Premiership log. His appearances in Bafana Bafana have been impressive as well.

Where is that so called Sam.You see man you don't have to play for a big team to be noticed but you have to perform exeptionally well to be noticed. If playing for a big team is ticket to play overseas then you better think thrice not twice. If that is, then YOUR TSIKITSIKIs of this world,MAMBUSHIs of this world would have played OVERSEAS,Including Brian Baloyi. So SAM get a life MY BRA!!!!!!!!

the best player in this league but i dont like these skakarambamba leagues ( greece, russia, denmark, and this israel kak now) this boy must be sent to france, germany, portugaland halland or even straight to the big three.

look where is tso, stigga, and the others, these boys are also forced to join the army in these countries and come back tired with nothing to be proud off and i think so called agents need to be called to order coz they are killing our soccer for the sake pound/ rand exchange. no one have made it to the big3 after went to the skakarambambas, i m telling you guys.

The Greek league is very competitive. Certanly better than PSL in terms of professionalism, money and general standard. It is also a chance to play champs league football

I am really disturbed to learn that Moon is excited about a week long trial in Greece. Moon my Bra, you are good enough to play in Spanish La Liga and English premier Lig. I think is better to play for Chiefs or Sunflower than playing in Greece, unless if you want to commit professional suicide like the likes of Fredericks, Pule, Mukansi etc. You better think twice if you want to be part of bafana in 2010

eish, i'm rally worried for this boy....i just see another talent going to waste!!! i mean look what happened to stiga, tso and mukansi, to name just a few. why do you think bafana's so leaky at the back? i'll give you the answer....coz morris isnt playin in the best league in the world and aaron mokoena's the new masseuse of blackburn rovers...to cut the whole story short, Moon, ask your agent to look else where....holland, spain or portugal.....that would do your football career lekker!!!!!
