Where was Teko?

Orlando Pirates midfielder Teko Modise’s manager Jazzman Mahlakgane dismisses media reports that the Bafana Bafana star has gone Awol amid allegations of being at loggerheads with Bucs coach Ruud Krol.

According to story on one of the local football websites all is not well between Krol and Modise with the latter being said to be no longer following the coaches instructions and demanding a position in central midfield rather than playing wide where has been operating throughout the season.

Modise missed the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium on Saturday which has sparked some lot of questions amongst Pirates supporters about the absence of the star midfielder.

Speaking to KickOff.com Modise's manager Jazzman Mahlakgane says Modise was carrying an injury hence his absence during the Absa Premiership match against AmaKhosi in Soweto on Saturday.

"All those reports saying Teko has gone Awol are not true as the boy is carrying an ankle injury.

"I am surprised how people can come with their own stories yet the game was on TV and everybody saw Teko limping off the field due to the injury against Maritzburg United."

A very good player no doubt, especially if played in the middle of the parp (not as a winger) but the fact of the matter is that he did not feture in the derby because he did not train with the team AND THE COACH SAID ON etv THAT TEKO IS AWOL.

de-ja-vu this is not the first time this kind of thing happens between a player and a coach at Pirates Mdledle and Cheese remember? dont be suprised if Teko signs with another club, well he already signed another contruct with Bucs thats a releaf, bottom line is Krol is killing this boys, look at cheese he has regain form and plays like the cheeseboy we all know but under Krol he was a shadow of himself same as all bucs players, let the truth be told Krol is killinig this players the sooner he resigns the better Shakira, Mongala, Makhanya, Mothibantwa the list is endless they are good players but it is obvious that the coach dont like them, for what good reason i dont know Mdluli,Manyisa,Mthombeni are they better than the above mentioned players? the answer is a big NO,then why are they prefered ahead of this talented players? my take is Krol is a confused old man he needs to retire nothing else.

Why is the S.A media always aiming to bring down our own S.A players hence they claim the support 4 the National Team?

We all saw Teko limping out of the game against Mrtzburg United hence no one questioned his availability towards the derby but now that he did not feature in the derby the S.A media finds it as an opportunity to bring him down.

And to all Teko hater; keep criticising him and come WC don't expect him to perform miracles bcos instead of appreciating and motivating your own players, you are busy criticising them and your critics are based on the team that one plays for.

Krol is the one to be blamed here because he didnt recognise that Teko was injured in both games. Let us get the official statement for Orlando Pirates Management. Why they are quite if Krol is saying what he said in both games? They can't quite like this
