After the match was abandoned after 34 minutes on Wednesday night due to a floodlight failure with Swallows winning 2-0, the PSL ordered the match to resume from that point with the same scoreline at 19h30 tonight.
However Sundowns objected and took the matter to Safa for arbitration, but the governing body has ruled in favour of the PSL and the match will go ahead.
That is a massive blow for Sundowns' title aspirations as they currently trail leaders SuperSport United by five points and unless they can get something out of this game, that gap will remain with just two matches left.
It would leave Matsatsantsa needing just a single point from their final Absa Premiership clash against struggling Bidvest Wits on Wednesday to win a third successive League title.
