What they say…

We get to hear what some of the clubs have to say ahead of Saturday's Absa Premiership action.
KAIZER CHIEFS vs ORLANDO PIRATES Vladimir Vermezovic, Kaizer Chiefs coach “In my country the derby between my old club Partizan Belgrade and Red Star is much like here. For many it is more important to win the derby than to win the title!. The players won’t need to prepare psychologically for the derby and often as a coach you find that you don’t need to do too much tactical work because what you prepare for seems to disappear in the derby because the players are so taken with the atmosphere and the occasion.” Ruud Krol, Orlando Pirates coach “Although we have lost three league matches before the derby against Kaizer Chiefs, past results and current form counts for nothing when it comes to the derby. It’s a totally different ball game and can go either way; hopefully we will get a win on Saturday.”
MARITZBURG UNITED vs FREE STATE STARS Noah Chivuta, Maritzburg United midfielder “Our confidence us growing and we want to keep the momentum going against Free State. The league is extremely tight at the bottom. It is important that we keep getting points, there is no option.” Duncan Lechesa, Free State Stars captain "We're going to prepare for another tough game against Maritzburg United this coming weekend and we're going to give extra in our work rate against them"
PLATINUM STARS vs MOROKA SWALLOWS Stanley Kgatla, Platinum Stars captain “Our game against Moroka Swallows gives us a chance to make it three wins in a row. But I think to play a team who come into the game after a loss is always difficult. Swallows lost to Ajax Cape Town and now they will come all out against us, looking for a victory. But our fans can be assured that we will be ready. Lefa Tsutsulupa, Moroka Swallows captain “There is no need to drop our heads (after the 2-0 defeat on Wednesday to Ajax Cape Town) but we have to pick ourselves up and continue to work hard and make sure that we get our campaign back on track.
BIDVEST WITS vs SUPERSPORT UNITED Roger de Sa, Bidvest Wits coach "After watching us struggle against [Free State] Stars I doubt Gavin [Hunt] will have any sleepless nights before Saturday. We are going to have to lift our game and improve big time if we are going to trouble United." Gavin Hunt, SuperSport United coach "We seem to play better with 10 men. We are certainly getting enough practice at it. Even down to 10 men against Santos we were comfortable. But one slip and we end up conceding a goal with 30 seconds to go. It was very frustrating."
