Amajita captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele believes that Ghana has got what it takes to win the Fifa Under-20 World Cup Final against Brazil in Egypt on Friday.
Ghana beat Hungary 3-2 whilst Brazil defeated Costa Rica 1-0 to qualify for the Final.
Led by skipper Andre Ayew, the Black Satellites have been marvel to watch since the beginning of the tournament and Mphahlele, whose side lost 2-1 to Ghana during the knockout stages, says they possess all the attributes to beat Brazil and bring the Cup home to Africa for the first time.
“Ghana remains the best team in the tournament. They are a quality side who have stamina and run the whole 90 minutes.
“We are the only side that forced them to extra-time. I spoke to them after they beat us and told them that they remain our hope to win the Cup for Africa. I am happy that they have done well and qualified for the Final.
“I don’t see Brazil stopping them and we wish them all the best in the Final.”
South African based defender Jonathan Mensah, who missed the semifinal against Hungary due to suspension, will be back to boost Ghana’s defence on Friday.
