Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has reacted to his side's "unfair" exit from the UEFA Champions League.
The Ligue 1 giants missed out on a spot in the final of the competition after getting knocked out by Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, losing the second leg by a goal to nil and the tie 2-0 on aggregate.
The Parisians were unable to find the back of the net despite their considerable dominance in the match.
They registered 31 shots, with five of them on target, but much like the first leg, the closest the French club came to scoring was finding the frame of the goal.
Speaking after the match, Enrique expressed his feelings after his team's latest European expulsion, and explained the sometimes unfair nature of the sport.

"My feeling is of sadness. It can't be anything else. We didn't manage to fulfil our objective," the former Barcelona boss, said per Yahoo Sports.
"I don't think we were inferior over the tie. We hit the woodwork six times.
"The curious thing about football is that sometimes it's not fair – we had 31 shots and did not score a single goal.
"Football was not fair with us in this tie. We have to accept it, congratulate the team that reached the final, mourn this and get over the disappointment.
"I never talk to the players after a game but today I made an exception. I tried to lift them but there is no consolation after such a defeat.
"But this is life and this is sport. It is very important to know how to win but also how to lose."
The Spaniard went on to express a feeling of pride towards his stars, and applauded their efforts.
"I am very proud of my team, without any doubt. I am the first one responsible for the defeat as coach but I am happy with the attitude and behaviour of all the players."
