Lionel Messi scored a sensational goal in his first game back with Paris Saint-Germain since his 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph with Argentina.
On Wednesday night, for the first time in two months, the forward donned a PSG shirt in a match.

Prior to the World Cup, the 35-year-old was in fine form for the French giants, with 12 goals and 14 assists in just 19 matches across all competitions.
Having now returned to club duty, the Argentine picked up where he left off as he got on to the scoresheet to help PSG secure a 2-0 win over Angers.
Starting off the move for his goal, he exchanged passes with a number of teammates before seemingly effortlessly scoring his eighth Ligue 1 strike of the season – only Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have more league goals than he does at PSG so far in this campaign.

Les Parisiens star Fabian Ruiz revealed after the match that Messi still leaves him in awe.
"Everyone knows what Leo is capable of," the Spanish midfielder told Canal+.
"He scored and we are very happy for him. We congratulate him for winning the World Cup.
"He deserves it. Now we have to enjoy him on the field.
"It is a privilege to see him every day.
"I think all the players are happy for him and for us."

PSG's next match will be a Ligue 1 away tie against fourth-placed Stade Rennes on Sunday.
