According to Cristiano Ronaldo's new manager, the Portuguese forward will leave Al Nassr for a team in Europe.

The veteran joined Al Nassr in a record-breaking move in Saudi Arabia that saw him become football's highest-paid player, a transfer that came after a reported lack of interest in his services from top European clubs.

It was said that Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Napoli, among others, had turned down the opportunity to sign the striker.

Since completing the move to the Saudi Pro League side, reports have suggested that the 37-year-old has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for a UEFA Champions League club.

Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has now added fuel to speculation that the five-time Ballon d'or winner may yet make a return to European football.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition as he helps disperse defenders," the forward said, per SPORT.

"He's one of the best players in the world.

"He won't finish his career at Al Nassr, he'll go back to Europe."

Following their 3-1 defeat to Al Ittihad in the semi-finals of the Arabian Super Cup last Thursday, Al Nassr's next fixture will see the former Manchester United star lock horns with Al Fateh on Friday.

Despite scoring two goals in a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain two weeks ago, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is yet to score his first competitive goal for the Saudi Pro League club.
