Brazil's new coach revealed?

Brazil have reportedly identified their new head coach after sacking Dorival Júnior on Friday night.

Dorival was relieved of his head coach duties just days after the humiliating 4-1 loss to arch-rivals Argentina in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

It was Selecao's heaviest defeat in a World Cup qualifier, which was even more embarrassing as Argentina were without captain Lionel Messi.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus has informed the Brazil Football Federation he is available to take over the role.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has long been a target for Brazil national team, but the Italian is reportedly unlikely to leave Santiago Bernabeu.

Those were reported by Romano, who reported that the decision now rests with the Brazilian federation.

The only condition Jesus gave Brazil was that he can only take over at the end of the end of July as he wants to manage Al Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup, which takes place in June.
