Siyabonga Ngezana is attracting further interest in Europe after an impressive debut season.

South Africa’s best-performing player in Europe – Siyabonga Ngezana – will have off-season transfer-related matters to consider as his value continues to rise.

Ngezana is on his way to the Romanian top league title with FCSB (formerly Steaua Bucuresti), which will come with the plus of playing in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers next season.

Such has been the influence and effect that the former Kaizer Chiefs defender has had that his name is again a subject of transfer talk.

The towering defender has played 28 games this season for FCSB and that has already earned him interest from France and Belgium.

French Ligue 1 club FC Lorient’s interest could go up in smoke if they get relegated while in Belgium it is said Ngezana’s name has been mentioned to Genk.

The latest enquiries have come from Turkey, with one of the big clubs there weighing the option of bringing him on board next season.

On Tuesday, this website was tipped off about the option of Turkey.

Questions about his personal terms were mentioned along with what his club will demand.

The Turks have thrown microscopic eyes across the Black Sea in following what Ngezana is doing to detail.

Ngezana has already doubled his transfer market value from what it was when he left Kaizer Chiefs in June last year.

What could possibly turn into a challenge is what FCSB will want for his transfer with his club boss Gigi Becali known to be unpredictable.

It has been reported that Chiefs still hold a percentage share on Ngezana's further transfers.

The 26-year-old is in action again on Saturday against Rapid Bucuresti.
