The revival of Mamelodi Sundowns forward Thembinkosi Lorch could be linked with the reunion of head coach Rulani Mokwena but the Brazilians seems to have diagnosed correctly what let Lorch down at Orlando Pirates.
As already reported by Kickoff, Lorch is in his best form in six seasons in terms of goal-scoring, with only just four months at Sundowns after he was signed from Pirates in the January transfer window.

There are parallels to the 30-year-old's form to being coached again by Mokwena, who was the assistant coach at the Buccaneers when he won Footballer of the Season in the 2018/19 campaign.
However, the biggest issue with Lorch not producing his best at Pirates since he was crowned Footballer of the Season has been injuries, which kept him out of the pitch more than on the field, especially in the last three seasons.
The Bafana Bafana attacker's appearances were getting reduced at an alarming rate, owing to injuries and even in the current campaign, Lorch could not feature for the Soweto giants in the MTN8 and CAF Champions League and also missed the first five league games due to injury.
The former Maluti FET College star also had injury issues towards the end of last year before he was signed by Sundowns.
However, to the credit of the Brazilians' training programmes and medical department, Lorch has remained injury free since joining despite the hectic schedule of Masandawana.
The 30-year-old only missed three games in the league for the Tshwane giants, mainly due to being rested for CAF Champions League matches, as he featured in all their continental games since the resumption of the inter-club tournament and featured in all their Nedbank Cup matches, with a return of six goals, equal to the goals he scored at Pirates in the last five-and-half seasons combined.
