Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki says it's a bitter pill to swallow conceding in stoppage time, just before they were about to make substitutions to close the game against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chiefs almost pulled off a 1-0 win over Sundowns after Edson Castillo broke the deadlock on the hour-mark and Ntseki has revealed that they conceded the equaliser, through Khuliso Mudau in added time, with defensive changes waiting to come on.

"Very important time of the game, we scored at the right time, unfortunately we conceded at the wrong time," Ntseki said on SuperSport TV.
"When you look at the six minutes added, we were supposed to close the game down and the plan was to bring in (Njabulo) Ngcobo and (Dillan) Solomons just to close it down. Just before the ball went out we conceded.
"It was a very bitter pill to swallow, because we already had a plan to close down the game and go home with the win," he said.
Ntseki continued and admitted that they made the same mistake they did in a league match last month.
"I think we made the same mistake we made in the league match against Sundowns. We did not have confidence on the ball, yes the shape was very good out of possession but the most important thing was when you regain possession, where do you play and how do you play," he said.

"So we had a situation where when we were defending, we were thinking of defending instead of defending, creating options when we regain possession.
"That's what we corrected (at half-time), to say let's have confidence on the ball, let's also make them work for the ball, instead of winning the ball and giving it back to them. But I think we did very well in the second-half."
The former Bafana Bafana coach also suggested that Castillo's goal was a well worked move and that they will score many goals if they continue that way and also explained the defensive substitution of Reeve Frosler on for Mduduzi Mdantsane late in the game.
"It was a very important move because we had four to five, six touches and we shaped the opponent and then we opened the opposite side and I think it was a very good late entry into the box, that is how we got the goal. And I think if we can keep on creating those moments, we'll score a lot of goals," he said.
"I think the plan was for us to go home with a win today without conceding, because you're fully aware that you're going into the second-leg and the second-leg is the most difficult one.
"The good thing about it is that we scored at home and it's for them to defend us from scoring, because we get a goal away, it gives us an advantage," he added.
