While Messi isn't as flashy as his greatest rival Cristiano Ronaldo, the Argentine captain isn't too shy to splash the cash on the finer things in life given his mammoth $41 million (R745 million) annual net salary at Paris Saint-Germain, including bonuses.
Additional endorsement worth a reported £39.9 million (R869 million) makes him easily one of the richest athletes on the planet, essentially affording him all things he can possibly imagine.

Case in point, this week the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner made headlines when he bought the exclusively rare Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, which has only four units ever made, per talkSPORT.
It is said that the ride is valued at an eye-watering £29.1 million (R634 million), more than what iconic basketball legend Michael Jordan earned during one single NBA season.
Although that is insanely impressive, Messi's recent spending spree also saw him purchase 35 gold iPhones for the Argentina team members and staff. Each device is comes with each player's name, national team shirt number, and the Argentina crest engraved on the 24-carat gold.
The FC Barcelona legend is planning to reward his compatriots from their 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph in Qatar and iDesign Gold delivered the phones to the PSG star's apartment in Paris.
