Mamelodi Sundowns icon Daniel ‘Mambush’ Mudau was caught in the street and showed that class is permanent by rolling back the years!

The former striker was always an attacking threat and it seems as though that instinct has yet to depart him, despite being retired since the early 2000s.

Mambush kept his tools sharp by participating in somewhat of a freestyle session with professional football freestyler Mjepa. While the first touch taken by the former attacker, in the video that was uploaded, may have looked a bit questionable — perhaps due to a little rust — he showed that ability doesn't leave the body.

During the exchange, he did a few keepie-uppies, passed the ball back to Mjepa with impressive accuracy, and even controlled the ball with his knee.

For retired players accustomed to the structured environment of professional football, freestyle can offer a refreshing opportunity to unleash their creativity and explore new techniques while still keeping the skills they once had at a high level.

Whether it's practicing juggling, mastering new tricks, or honing ball control, this method of football offers endless opportunities for players to stay sharp and continue pushing their limits.

Mudau represented Masandawana for his entire career as a top-flight footballer, as well as representing Bafana Bafana with whom he won the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations. Despite being out of the game for a long time, he remains one of Downs' top goal scorers of all time.
