Premier League leaders Arsenal made it four wins in a row with a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The home side were unchanged from the side that started win in the North London six days ago, as Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli were once against left on the bench.

These two sides were involved in a thrilling clash at the Emirates Stadium last season, where the Gunners came back from two goals down to secure 3-2 win, which included a 97th minute winner from Reiss Nelson.

Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers was the busier of the two shot-stoppers in the early stages, as he produced some good saves to keep out Kai Havertz and William Saliba in the opening 15 minutes.

The Cherries' resolve was broken five minutes before the interval after winning a penalty for Travers' foul on Havertz, which allowed Bukayo Saka to step up and send the goalkeeper the wrong way.

The second half got off to a lively start as Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke was denied by a good stop from David Raya, while Gunners defender Gabriel went wide with a header from close range.

Despite the end-to-end affair in the second half, Arsenal would go on  to double their lead in the 70th minute when Leandro Trossard expertly finished past Travers after being teed up by Declan Rice.

Antoine Semenyo had the ball in the back of the net after 75 minutes with a well-taken finish but the referee had blown for a foul on Raya by Slolanke, with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) agreeing with the on-field decision.

The home side were celebrating on 88 minutes when Gabriel found the back of the net with a superb volley, but the celebrations were cut short by the offside flag on Havertz.

The Gunners got their reward in second-half stoppage time as Rice latched onto Gabriel Jesus' pass and fired into the far corner to see off the win.
