Serie A giants Inter Milan have confirmed they have made a bid for Nigeria star Ademola Lookman.
The reigning CAF Player of the Year has been linked with the Nerazzurri in the last few weeks
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has now confirmed they want to buy the 27-year-old, who registered 15 goals and five assists for Atalanta last season.

“We have a great relationship with Atalanta . Based on respect and friendship," Ausilio told Sky Sports Italia.
“We’ve spoken and told them what we expect.”
“We’re big fans of Lookman,” said Ausilio. “That’s not a secret.”
“We’d like to try to sign him. But he’s an Atalanta player. And we’ll have to work to try to reach an agreement.”
Inter have reportedly already bid €40 million for the Nigerian, but the sporting director added they will not spends all off-season trying to convince Atalanta.
“we’re not going to have endless negotiations.”
“What matters is what Atalanta want to do.”
