The matter between TS Galaxy FC and their former player is now before the Premier Soccer League.

The South African Football Players Union decided to report the Mpumalanga province club to the NDRC following their failure to respond to their letter of demand.

"He entered into a settlement agreement with TS Galaxy in January 2023, settlement terms were three months payment, starting 31 January 2023 and ending 31 March 2023," Safpu secretary Nhlanhla Shabalala tells KickOff.

"However, he was only paid for one month in the month of March which was late thereby translating to a default on the agreed settlement signed upon and agreed.

"In June Safpu wrote a letter of demand to TS Galaxy giving them 15 days to remedy the breach and make payments.

"But the club did not respond or remedy the breach.

"As a result, the matter of Sibusiso Vilakazi has been referred to NDRC.

"We await a date for the hearing in order to get an award from the league which will become binding and enforceable.

"Once the award is received the team will be given a chance to make payment and failure to which we will make an application to the league to deduct the amount due to Mr Vilakazi from the grant of TS Galaxy."
