This has been confirmed by the PSL, who sent out the prize money for each award.
Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Percy Tau and Hlompho Kekana, as well as Maritzburg United’s Siphesihle Ndlovu, are candidates for the big award. Tau, who is guaranteed to share the Top Goalscorer Award with Polokwane City’s Rodney Ramagalela, is a favourite to win. The top goalscorer will walk home with R25 000.
The Absa Premiership Players’ Player of the Season, which will be contested by Tau, Ndlovu and Orlando Pirates’ Musa Nyatama, will get a cheque of R200 000.
