According to the club's COO Jonathan Schloss, they will need to wait for the 36-year-old to return from Mozambique before anything can be done.
Pelembe joined Wits from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2015 and has since helped the Braamfontein-based club win the Absa Premiership title, MTN8 and Telkom Knockout.

"You see Pelembe, we waiting for him. Pelembe is in Mozambique so I think we will meet him when he is back," Schloss tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Meanwhile, Schloss also remains positive that highly rated Bafana Bafana left-back Sifiso Hlanti will remain with the club for a long time.
