Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the departure of outcast midfielder Kamohelo Mahlatsi after just one season at the Glamour Boys.
Mahlatsi joined Amakhosi from Swallows at the start of the 2022/23 season, as part of a three-player package deal that included Dillan Solomons and George Matlou.
Mahlatsi made just seven appearances last season under Arthur Zwane and is yet to feature in the current campaign under Molefi Ntseki.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Kaizer Chiefs confirm midfielder's departure" story:
"It is becoming a norm at Chiefs for the second season in a row to; Bring a plumber coach, get new players, and releasing some players in the name of re-building.
"Are we going to experience the same in the next season because nothing fruitful is loading this season?" says peter95157.
"Why does Chiefs terminate contracts of players instead of selling them as part of a deal for another player? Is there something the club can do to prevent this culture of terminating contracts and not receive any money for the player?
"Are we saying our players have no value because they could not force themselves into the playing squad?," asks khothakhosi.
"It's a case of 'we get them for free, so why can't we give them away for free'," replies Skyvodka.
"Chiefs is killing careers," says Zebra to hell.
"Sundowns is killing SA football," replies fsengani02.
"Manyama became a cow (former players of the season), Billiat became a cow (former players of the season), Ntshangase became a cow, Castro became a cow and Dolly is in the process of being certified as a cow.
"Chiefs are just a certified feedlot; it can't be that such a talent fails dismally like this," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
Read: Sirino banished to train alone
Uruguayan attacker Gaston Sirino's future at Mamelodi Sundowns remains uncertain after reportedly being ordered to train alone at Chloorkop.
Rulani Mokwena revealed that Sirino handed in a transfer request in an attempt to force a move away from Downs, and has been heavily linked with a move to Pitso Mosimane's AL Wahda in the United Arab Emirates.
Mosimane revealed that a deal for Sirino would be difficult as the club hasn't attached an asking price for the player, with sources revealing that the 32-year-old would be welcomed back into the team by many senior players.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Sirino banished to train alone" story:
"Let's exchange him with Pule, win-win situation for all parties concerned. Rulani loves Pule and we want Sirino," says Zam d king Buccaneer.
"Or even Lorch, we doing wonders without him, but I have a feeling Sirino might opt for more money in Saudi," replies @Normzm.
"He must go through the process until we forgive him and start playing. Sundowns do not rule by Sirino, we rule Sirino," says Zebra to hell.
"Warden Rulani refuses to give Sirino parole," says user915619.
"The word 'banish' is misleading. Sirino wasn't training while waiting for his 'offer' so if the deal didn't materialise, why should he just waltz into the team? There is a training program followed at Sundowns.
"Imagine if any player requests to leave when a deal fails he comes into training program by-passing all trainings modules that all players went through. Sundowns is not micky-mouse team, that's why there are where they are today," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
