Benzema's international career with Les Blues was officially ended by France Football Federation President Noel Le Graët this weekend - sparking a surprise reaction from the Los Blancos striker.

The 31-year-old took to social media stating he would look towards representing another nation he is eligible for that has since heated speculation over a switch the African champions.

However, Belmadi is seemingly not keen on the idea of the Benzema going through the process of revoking his French nationality through the Paris based government for a chance of the sensational switch.

"I'm more than happy with the strikers at my disposal."

Since being appointed the head coach of Les Verts in September 2018, Belmadi has overseen 15 wins, four draws, while losing only once.
