Transfer deadline day has come and gone across Europe's major leagues. Here is a recap of how the day went.

DONE DEAL: Reigning Serie A champions Juventus have loaned defender Daniele Rugani to Cagliari.

DONE DEAL: Moroccos star Oussama Idrissi has joined Ajax Amsterdam on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Dutch giants retaining the option to sign him permanently from Sevilla at the end of the season.

DONE DEAL: Everton have joined in on the act after confirming the acquisition of Joshua King from AFC Bournemouth.

DONE DEAL: Liverpool by far the busiest team in the market on deadline day after confirming the signing of Ozan Kabak. The Turkish defender arrives on loan from Schalke 04, with the Reds retaining the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season

DONE DEALS: Southampton have completed the signing of Takumi Minamino from Liverpool on loan, while young Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg has joined Preston North End on a short-term move as part of the deal that saw Ben Davies move in the opposite direction.

DONE DEAL: LaLiga side Celta Vigo have landed the signature of Argentina forward Facundo Ferreyra.

DONE DEAL: Former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese has signed for UD Las Palmas on a free transfer. He has been a free agent since terminating his contract with the Parisians towards the end of last year.

DONE DEAL: Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool have completed a deal to sign Ben Davies from Preston North End. The 25-year-old has signed a long-term deal with Jurgen Klopp's side, who are expected to sign Ozan Kabak before the window closes later this evening.

DONE DEAL: West Bromwich Albion have secured the loan signing of Okay Yokuslu on loan from LaLiga side Celta Vigo.

DONE DEALS: Turkish giants Galatasaray have signed DeAndre Yedlin from Newcastle United and Gedson Fernandes from SL Benfica, with the latter having been recalled from his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur prior to completing the move.

DONE DEAL: Bayern Munich's Joshua Zirkzee has joined Serie A side Parma on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Italian club retaining the option to sign the Dutch youngster on a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.

DONE DEAL: Serbia international Nemanja Radonjic has joined Bundesliga side Hertha BSC on loan from Olympique Marseille, while the German outfit has also signed Sami Khedira from Juventus.

DONE DEAL: Brighton & Hove Albion have beaten a host of clubs across Europe to the signing of Moises Caicedo. The 19-year-old Ecuador international joins the Seagulls from Independiente del Valle and has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal.

DONE DEAL: Manchester City youngster Taylor Harwood-Bellis has joined Blackburn Rovers on loan.

GOING NOWHERE: No agreement has been reached between Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of England international Deli Alli, per BBC. He is now expected to remain in London.

RUNNING OUT OF TIME: Liverpool are running out time to complete a deal to sign Schalke defender Ozan Kabak. The move is dependant on the Bundesliga side signing a replacement for the Turkish star, with Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi reported to be the target, before Germany's 17:00 (19:00 SA time) deadline.

DONE DEAL: TSG Hoffenheim have announced the loan signing of USA international Chris Richards from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. The 20-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the club.

DONE DEAL: Former Netherlands international Jeremain Lens has joined Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk on loan from Besiktas.

ON THE MOVE? Former Black Leopards striker Mwape Musonda has been de-registered by UAE Arabian Gulf League side Hatta Club and looks set to officially sign for Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Sahel on loan for the remainder of the season.

DONE DEAL: Atalanta have completed the signing of highly-rated Ukraine international Victor Kovalenko from Shakhtar Donetsk. 

DONE DEAL: Bundesliga side Union Berlin have signed Croatian forward Petar Musa from Slavia Prague. The 22-year-old has joined the club on a season-long loan.

SNUBBED: Per the BBC, Premier League title contenders Manchester City have turned down the opportunity to sign former Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who is a free agent after leaving Atletico Madrid last month.

DONE DEAL: Greek giants Olympiakos have signed French right-back Kenny Lala from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

DONE DEAL: West Ham United defender Winston Reid has completed a season-long loan move to Championship side Brentford. The New Zealand international has not played a match for the Hammers since 2018 and spent part of 2020 on loan with MLS side Sporting Kansas.

DONE DEAL: Everton have confirmed that goalkeeper Jonas Lossl has signed for FC Midtjylland. The 31-year-old Danish shot-stopper returns to the club where he started his career.

DONE DEAL: Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Glenn Murray from Brighton & Hove Albion. The veteran striker had previously spent the first half of the season on loan with fellow EFL Championship side Watford.

CLOSE: Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool are expected to complete a move to sign Preston North End defender Ben Davies on Monday. The deal could see young Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg move in the opposite direction on loan.

RUMOUR MILL: Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion have both been strongly linked with a move for Arsenal defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles, with the England international said to want an exit from the Emirates Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.

GOING NOWHERE: Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has categorically denied that Christain Eriksen will be leaving the club on Monday. The former Tottenham Hotspur star had been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League.
