However, the Spaniard's 120 goals only lands him at sixth spot in the 10 highest scoring defenders off all-time but 34-year-old still has time to move up the ladder.
The number one spot is currently held by Barcelona and Netherlands legend Ronald Koeman who netted an impressive 253 goals, which included netting 26 goals in one season for PSV Eindhoven.
Koeman was a dead-ball specialist and also took penalty responsibilities throughout his career and it doesn't look like he's record will be broken anytime soon.
Two-time World Cup winner Daniel Passarrella comes in on second on the list, with the Argentine defender notching up 175 career goals, including 23 goals for the national side.
Passarrella ranks eighth in Argentina's all-time highest scoring list, with only Lionel Messi, Gabriel Batistuta, Hernán Crespo, Diego Maradona and Gonzalo Higuaín siting above the defender.
