Senegalese star Sadio Mane has issued a message to two of his Liverpool teammates who will be competing at the Africa Cup of Nations.
AFCON got underway in Cameroon on Sunday, and some of the continent’s biggest stars, including Mane, are relishing the possibility of clinching the prized showpiece.
The Lions of Teranga are in Group B, alongside Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Guinea, who will be spearheaded by Mane’s club teammate Naby Keita.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s third representative at the competition Mohamed Salah will lead Egypt’s attacking frontline against the likes of Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, and Sudan in Group D.

The Reds' no.10, Mane, has now dished out a message aimed at his Anfield teammates, while he has also hinted that his nation will be the eventual champions of the tournament.
"I have a special message for my good friends, Naby Keita and Mo Salah," he said in a video message shared on social media.
"Unfortunately, I can't play against two teams in the final, so I have to play against one [hinting Senegal will reach the final]."
Mane, whose Senegal side finished as the runners-up to reigning African champions Algeria in the previous edition of the tournament went on to warn his Liverpool teammates that they will be beaten 1-0 in the final should they reach it, adding: "I want to say good luck to all of you, I'll see you soon."
Senegal are among the favourites to win AFCON as they are the number-one ranked side African nation at the competition.
