PSG 'identify' Mbappe replacement

World News

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe amid reports that their 22-year-old star is set to join Real Madrid.

With his contract expiring at the end of this season, Mbappe's future has been the topic of much speculation for quite some time, although there is no indication as yet as to whether he will make the switch to Real or extend his stay in Paris.

However, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently claimed that the France forward "already has a contract" with Los Blancos.

Although there is no official confirmation that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will be a LaLiga player next season, the prospect of his departure still looms large over Mauricio Pochettino's side, and it has now been suggested that Les Parisiens have already set their sights on a potential replacement.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Red Bull Salzburg star Karim Adeyemi is being earmarked as Mbappe's successor if he ends up joining Los Blancos.

The 19-year-old has had an impressive start to the 2021/22 campaign, scoring 13 goals in 14 matches across the Austrian Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

The teenager is said to have also attracted the interest from Real, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich.
