Ronaldo in, Mbappe & Icardi out at PSG?

World News

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a sensational three-way deal involving Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the possibility has arisen that Ronaldo, who has a year left on his contract with Juventus, could join Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

The Portuguese superstar's proposed move would reportedly form part of a three-way deal that would see him replace Mbappe at the club, with the Frenchman linked with Real Madrid, while Icardi would head in the opposite direction to Juventus.

However, the entire transaction would appear to be dependent on the France star's departure, which is not a certainty given the Parisians' optimism that the 22-year-old will extend his stay in the French capital.

A subsequent report from the same publication also suggests that more players will need to leave PSG ahead of the new season, including the likes of Icardi, Leandro Paredes and Layvin Kurzawa, before the French side can even consider signing Ronaldo and reported target Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Mauricio Pochettino's side is reportedly hoping to raise about €80 million (R1.3 billion) in funds to make up for COVID 19-related losses, which it intends to achieve by offloading a number of non-essential players in the squad.

Is this the kit Ronaldo will be wearing next season?
