After parting ways with UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool, Daniel Sturridge has joined Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.
The 29-year-old was linked with a number of clubs in recent months following his departure at Anfield, but he has now put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal with Trabzonspor.
Sturridge joined the Reds from Chelsea in 2013, but also had a loan spell at West Bromwich Albion before returning to Anfield where he won his second Champions League title.
The English forward will see a familiar face when he joins up with the squad as his former Chelsea teammate John Obi Mikel joined Trabzonspor last month.
During his time in England, Sturridge scored over 100 goals during his time with Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea and West Brom.
