A surprise new club has expressed an interest in signing Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese forward is understood to want to leave the Premier League side in this transfer window as he is determined to join a club that will compete for major honours and feature in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.

Finding a team that fits the aforementioned requirements has proved a difficult task for the 37-year-old, though, with his wages reportedly a concern for many potential suitors.
Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea were all widely linked with the striker, but eventually opted against a move for the superstar.
With Ronaldo's options looking bleak as things stand, Brazilian side Corinthians have now expressed an interest in the forward, with their club president revealing he is "keeping an eye" on the situation.
"It's true, I dream big. This is Corinthians!" Corinthians chief Duilio Monteiro Alves said in an interview with Ulissescast.
"Aren't Willian and Renato Augusto here?
"In football everything is possible, and I have the obligation to give my best for Corinthians.
"Is it possible? I don't know. We didn't try, we didn't investigate, there was no such possibility, but we are keeping an eye on him.
"Imagine that he suddenly wants to play in Brazil..."
While it seems unlikely Ronaldo would make the move to Corinthians, considering his desire to compete in the UCL, the South American giants are one of the most successful clubs on their continent with 30 league titles, while they also won the FIFA Club World Cup as recently as 2012.
