PSL legend in hospital with Covid-19

PSL legend Musa Otieno has been hospitalised in Kenya after reportedly testing positive for Covid-19.

The news was announced by Otieno's brother-in-law Collins Okinyo, who took to social media on Tuesday to wish the former Santos star a speedy recovery.

"Quick recovery to Kenyan legend, longest-serving captain at 13 years, and of course my brother-in-law Musa Otero Otieno. You will beat Covid-19, you have always been strong," Okinyo posted on Facebook.

Kris Humphrey Kaufman, one of Otieno's close friends, had also earlier posted that the former Kenya international had been hospitalised and shared an image of him receiving oxygen.

Otieno, who was part of Santos' PSL-winning side in 2002, has played an active role in assisting the less fortunate during the pandemic through his Kickoff to Hope organisation, which has supported more than 600 families in low-income areas.
