With Luis Suarez's imminent departure from Atletico Madrid having already been announced, here are more stars whose exits have been confirmed ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Ahead of their 1-1 draw with Sevilla on Sunday, Atleti paid tribute to both Suarez and midfielder Hector Herrera at the Wanda Metropolitano, with the South American duo playing their last home game for the club on the day.

After the match, the Uruguay international posted an image on Instagram along with a caption saying goodbye to the club's fans, and his former strike partners at FC Barcelona, Messi and Neymar, had some kind words to share.

The Argentine commented on the post: "More than deserved. I love you so much", while the Brazilian added: "You are a phenomenon. I love you brother."

The former Liverpool centre-forward has been linked with a move to Aston Villa to play alongside his ex-teammate Philippe Coutinho and under another one of his ex-colleagues in manager Steven Gerrard, while Herrera's next club is yet to be revealed.

In Italy, Juventus pair Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini had a tearful send-off on Monday night as they received standing ovations at the Allianz Arena.

The veteran centre-back has teased the possibility of playing in the United States, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that the 37-year-old could join Los Angeles FC.

Following Chelsea's FA Cup final defeat at the hands of Liverpool over the weekend, Blues' boss Thomas Tuchel disclosed that Andreas Christensen will be leaving the Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The Dane is believed to be headed to Barca on a five-year deal.
