Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has named, between Real Madrid and Manchester City, who he would like to face in the UEFA Champions League final, while Sadio Mane has got his name into the record books yet again.

The English giants had to come from two goals down in the second half to win the clash 3-2 thanks to strikes from Fabinho, Luis Diaz, and Sadio Mane, with the latter setting a new record in the process.

While Liverpool sealed a 5-2 victory on aggregate, the Senegalese forward now has the most goals (15) in the Champions League knockout stages by an African player, surpassing Didier Drogba's record of 14.

After the match, Salah, who managed to bag an assist on the night, was very clear as to who he would like to face in his club's 10th European Cup final.

"I want to play Madrid, I have to be honest," the Egyptian told BT Sport.

"City is a really tough team, we played against them a few times this season.

"I think personally, I would prefer Madrid. We lost in the final to them so I want to play against them and hopefully win it."

Asked if the Merseysiders are still aiming for the quadruple this season, the Pharaoh responded: "For sure, for sure. Maybe not in the beginning of the season, I always focus on [the] Champions League and Premier League, but now we are close for everything, so why not?
