Mohamed Salah's next move revealed?

World News

Peter Crouch has made bold claim about Mohamed Salah’s future amid rumours linking him with a move to various big clubs, including Real Madrid.

The Reds' ex-striker Crouch has claimed that Egyptian superstar Salah has no interest in joining Los Blancos, as the Anfield side and the player are understood to have started discussing a new deal.

Salah is down to his final two years on his Liverpool contract, and it is believed that the Pharoah is demanding €28 million (R491 million) a year if he is to sign an extension with Jurgen Klopp’s side, per Marca.

It is now suggested that this has cast doubt over his future with the Premier League giants, with Crouch telling the Daily Mail that Liverpool needs to settle the ongoing contract renewal swiftly so that the African superstar remains put.

"Real Madrid have been sniffing around him but why would he go there," said Crouch. "There isn’t a club on the planet he could join that is better than Liverpool at this stage.

"Hypothetically, if he goes elsewhere in the Premier League, he’ll lose what he has built at Anfield. There are no European destinations which are a no-brainer for him.

"Barcelona and Real are not the same as they were and there is other factors with Paris Saint-Germain and the merits of Ligue 1."
