The likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Dean Henderson, and Andreas Pereira are all linked with a departure from Old Trafford, with the latter having now issued a clear statement about his future.
With the midfielder having spent the 2021/22 season out on loan at Brazilian club Flamengo, and having recently been linked with moves to Fulham and Crystal Palace, he has now revealed he would prefer to return to his home country next season.
"I'm not the one who decides – it's up to Man United. I would like to stay at Flamengo, but it's not in my hands," the Belgian-born Brazilian told journalist Raisa Simplicio.
"I'll see what's best for me and the club. I love Flamengo. We will soon speak and decide.
"My relationship between me and Flamengo has always been very good. This year was incredible for me.
"If it doesn't work out, I'll always leave with my head held high. I love the club, I love Flamengo, I'm Flamengo. I will come back in the future."
Pereira's comments come soon after reports suggesting that new Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has asked the player, who still has a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, to delay making a decision on his future because he wants to assess him during preseason.
