Manchester United have reportedly made a big decision regarding its players amid what many consider to be their worst-ever season in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have endured an abysmal 2021/22 season by their standards, one that will see them finish no higher than sixth spot on the table, and with their lowest points tally ever in the EPL era.

Many of their stars, including Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Bruno Fernandes, have largely underperformed given the previous heights they've reached.
The club has also struggled with stability on the managerial front, having sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021 and hired Ralf Rangnick on an interim basis.
The German tactician has arguably failed to improve the side, while there have been numerous reports of friction within the dressing room, although incoming boss Erik ten Hag will do his best to rectify the situation.
Now, according to the Daily Mirror, the United management has decided to cancel the club's end-of-season awards ceremony due to senior players feeling embarrassed about staging the event following a disastrous campaign.
The gala dinner, which generally takes place in the last two weeks before the conclusion of a season, has not been held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and with one game remaining before the 2021/22 campaign draws to a close, the ceremony has not gone ahead.
Instead, the 13-time English champions have decided to run an online poll for fans to choose their Player of the Year. The club is said to still be working on a plan as to how to present the award, though.
There is a general feeling that talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will likely be chosen as the team's POTY given his chart-topping 27 goal contributions in 38 matches in all competitions this season.
