The team Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi could play for next has reportedly been revealed, with the Argentine said to be ready to buy a stake in the club too.
Having left FC Barcelona in August 2021, Messi has somewhat failed to live up to expectations since joining Les Parisiens, resulting in him being the subject of tirades of criticism by some members of the French press and pundits.

However, the seven-time Ballon d'Or has managed to win the Ligue 1 title in his debut campaign in France, and more recent reports have suggested that he will see out his contract, which expires in June 2023, at the Parc des Princes, despite speculation that he could look to leave Paris in the next window.
While PSG do have an option to extend his deal by a further year, that clause will not be triggered because the 34-year-old will be venturing to the United States to join MLS side Inter Miami upon the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign, per DirecTV reporter Alex Candal.
It is further claimed that Messi is planning on purchasing a 35% stake in the US club co-owned by Manchester United legend David Beckham.
It is said the Florida outfit already has a contract written up for the four-time UEFA Champions League winner, although it is yet to be signed.
However, the player's father Jorge Messi's recent comments hinting at a possible return to Barca provides a contrasting effect to the situation.
"I hope it [happens], someday," he said on Twitch channel Jijantes FC when asked if he would like his son to return to Barca.
